CKUT's 2019 Annual General Meeting
CKUT 90.3FM Annual General Meeting
Tuesday November 19th 6pm-9pm Rutherford Building, Room 118, 3600 University Street McGill Downtown Campus
CKUT’s Annual General Meeting is fast approaching. We will convene to make any decisions relating to member motions, elect steering, board, and programming committee members, and learn about all the fun that has taken place during the past year at CKUT!
CKUT’s various committees assemble to discuss and debate everything from the meaning of “alternative” media to who will fix the downstairs toilet. Participating on a CKUT committee can be sometimes fascinating, sometimes excruciating and often challenging. Email email@example.com if you are interested or would like more info.
Consider being part of this history and making change in the future by volunteering with CKUT’s Board of Directors.
CKUT 90.3FM is seeking current and prospective volunteers interested in working with the Board of Directors. Specifically, we are looking for:
Individuals with HR experience who are interested in helping draft or revise CKUT policies and procedures and embedding the equity-focused mandate into these documents Individual(s) who will join or head the development of an HR committee Individuals with experience training for collective management and collective facilitation
Working with the CKUT Board of Directors is a great way to gain human resource and communication skills, as well as invaluable experience in many facets of the management of non-profit organizations and collective management style.
The CKUT Board of Directors is currently engaged in supporting the station in an active manner. The Board meets once per month, usually in the evenings, however, there is often work that needs to be done between meetings, usually over the phone and by email. Board members are expected to commit to a two (2) year term on the board.
If interested, please send the following documents to firstname.lastname@example.org:
