The second part of the Emma Noradounkian’s documentary on Feminicides–the killing of women because of their gender– which have been occurring for decades in both Mexico and in Canada. CKUT presents you with this documentary series in the lead-up to the annual Memorial March for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, October 4th, 3pm in Cabot Square.
The second half of the show will bring you the question and answer period from the Federal Election Debate that Student Society of McGill University and CKUT held on September 30th. It was an exciting debate, a great lead up to the 4th federal elections, featuring 6 party representatives. You can find the main part of the debate that revolved around 3 main themes of Education, Environment and Economy in CKUT archives on our website. Find us on Twitter @CKUTNews to read some one-line comments about how the debate went.
