Off the Hour, today 5-6pm: Congress of Black Writers and Artists

Tune in to Off the Hour today from 5-6pm, CKUT’s community news program!

On the show tonight: This past weekend, the Congress of Black Writers and Artists was held to commemorate the 45th anniversary of the 1968 Congress. Centred around the theme «Create Dangerously», the Congress brought together Black artists and writers from across the nation to discuss and celebrate the struggle against white supremacy. In this piece, you hear three speeches, from Ajamu Nangwaya, Kimalee Phillips, and Firoze Manji respectively.
