Radio Camp is Back for a Second Year
Week-long camps run from June 28 - August 20

We had such a great time the first year that CKUT has paired up with the McGill Conservatory Day Camp to offer our SECOND ever Radio Camp. Over a week long session campers (ages 10-13 and 14-17) will write, produce and act in a radio play, will conduct interviews and create short documentaries, learn to dj and at the end of the week will produce and host a live radio show on CKUT! Gain hands-on skills in a creative and fun setting. All sessions will be conducted in French and English.

    Our radio campers present two live shows each week and occasionally appear on other shows. On Mondays, the campers host a live music show and by Friday they produce, tech and host an entire one hour show. All shows are bilingual. To listen, click on the links below.

    2010 Dates & Ages
      CKUT will host 6 one week sessions alternating between groups of 10 to 13 year olds and 14 to 17 year olds.
      Sessions are limited to a minimum of 6 and a max of 10 campers.

    • Session 1 (Ages 10 to 13): June 28th - July 2nd, 2010
    • Session 2 (Ages 14 to 17): July 5th - July 9th, 2010
    • Session 3 (Ages 10 to 13): July 12th - July 16th, 2010
    • Session 4 (Ages 14 to 17): July 19th - July 23th, 2010
    • Session 5 (Ages 10 to 13): Aug 9th - Aug 13th, 2010
    • Session 6 (Ages 14 to 17): Aug 16th - Aug 20st, 2010

    • *Note: There will be a 2 week break from July 26th to Aug 6th, 2010.
    Times
      Drop off is at the McGill Conservatory between 8:30am and 9am and pick up is at the McGill Conservatory between 4pm and 4:30pm.

      Locations
        Pick-up and drop off is at the McGill Conservatory at 555 Sherbrooke West.
        All workshops will be held at CKUT Radio at 3647 University. Campers will be escorted to and from CKUT by a camp counsellor every morning and afternoon. Some nearby fieldtrips will take place throughout the week. More information on field trips will be provided upon registration.
      Cost
        Total cost for a one-week session of camp is $245.
        This fee includes:
        • One week of hands-on radio fun!
        • Your very own Radio Camp t-shirt
        • A $50 administrative fee
