No One Is Illegal Radio, Today 5-6pm: Update on the Mi'kmaq Blockade

i) an interview with Amanda Lickers (member of the Turtle Clan of the Onondowa’ga Nation). Amanda, a support person, will speak about the situation at Elsipogtog, on unceded Mi’kmaq territory in “New Brunswick” where both Indigenous and non-Indigenous are resisting shale gas exploration;
ii) an interview with John Clarke of the Ontario Coalition Against Poverty (OCAP) to explore the issues that the Rob Ford scandal is masking, and the ruling class hypocrisy it’s exposing;
iii) an update about the ongoing strike by immigration detainees at the Central East Correctional Centre in Lindsay, Ontario, with Tings Chak of No One Is Illegal-Toronto.
