Raphaël Foisy of Small Scale Music Hosts If You Got Ears Nov. 2015

Raphaël Foisy is the founder and co-director of Montreal based cassette label Small Scale Music. Small Scale Music is interested in releasing a wide range of experimental

music with a focus on improvisation. Since it’s foundation in September 2014 the label has released a dozen titles of Canadian and international musicians. Artists are being

given total freedom on what appear on their albums (music and visual). As member of the grassroots collective La Passe and co-presenter of Mardis Tous Croches series

Raphael help organising and presenting experimental music concerts. He also plays bass in the bands Brick Quartet, Bord à Bord and Ninja Simone and in different improvised

music settings. For his If You Got Ears month of programming Raphael will play Experimental Canadian music brought back from the Brick Quartet most recent tour,

music on tapes from around the world, exceptional bands that played at La Passe and other local and exotic goodies.
