Running since '86 (pre-FM), Positive Vibes is Montréal’s reggae matrix and plays all forms of reggae, roots, rub a dub, ska, dancehall, and vintage rarities. One of the longest running shows on CKUT, Positive Vibes was originated by Janice Dayle “J.D”, in 1986 and opened the station's doors to many other Caribbean and Afro-centric programs.

Positive Vibes has had various other hosts over the years including Sistah P (Pat Dillon, currently host of Bhum Bhum Time), Prym Tyme (former CKUT Production Coordinator), and Majesty.
