Blues from every era. Interview with artists, concert listings, blues related events, information and trivia, gearhead heaven…just what kind of harmonica was that?

On Cha Cha Cha In Blue, the longest-running blues show in Montreal, host John Detcheverry devotes equal time to the classics, new releases and Canadian artists. On the air since 1990.

Listeners can expect to hear the likes of Paul Deslauriers, Buddy Guy, Otis Rush, Pop Staples, Downchild, Steve Rowe, MonkeyJunk, and Charlie Musselwhite, as well as live performances and interviews.

Every Sunday 9 - 11pm (EST)

Tonight on Cha Cha Cha In Blue we're still COVID aware and this is my 151st show recorded at home. Let's start tonight by revisiting a few of the great new releases we've received over the past few weeks with The Maple Blues Band, Eddie 9V, Savoy Brown, Matt Andersen, and Mike Zito & Albert Castiglia. This week's featured new releases are from Misty Blues, Peter Storm, Big Shoes, Sister Lucille, and Jeff Pitchell. In the "history" part of the show I've got Bumble Bee Slim, Bessie Smith, Jimmy Nolen, Howlin' Wolf, B.B. King, Otis Spann, Muddy Waters, and Gary Moore. We'll close with a song from the Bobby Dove in advance of their return to Montreal Tuesday at Quai des Brumes.
