April 4, 2023: Celebrating Black Love with Rhema & Cedric

Celebrating Black Love is very important to us on Soul Perspectives and this week, we ask you to join us in celebrating Black Love with our guests from Mother's Month and Father's Month last Year: Rhema Huggins and Cedric Titus and a story.  

Once upon a time, not so long ago, a Haitian boy met this Trini girl through a mutual friend at work. They became friends - talking about everything and nothing - DAILY and just like that Team Titus was formed. They have no idea how long they have been together, but for sure it has been cemented on paper that they have been married for three years now.  

Hailing from the twin island Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, Rhema Huggins @ellieghuggs has a passion for arts and culture. While pursuing her studies in Building Engineering at Concordia University, she served as the Vice President then later the President of the Concordia Caribbean Student Union which has played a pivotal role in driving awareness and celebrating the richness of the diverse Caribbean culture. She also tested the waters as a host on Soul Perspectives a few years back.  

Cédric-Charles Titus @funkmastertitus was born in Montreal to Haitian parents but grew up in Aylmer, a small city close to Ottawa, currently known as Gatineau, then he moved back to Montreal to pursue his his studies at HEC Montreal, and is currently working as a Senior Business Analyst for Telus. Now 37 years old, Cedric and Rhema got married right before the pandemic in 2020 and they are the proud mother and father of their beautiful baby girl born last January 2022.
