Tonight on Cha Cha Cha In Blue we're still COVID aware and this is my 153rd show recorded at home. Let's start by shining a light on the local blues scene with songs from the Durham County Poets, Angel Forrest. Cliff Stevens,and Mike Goudreau. This week's featured new releases are from Backtrack Blues Band, Dean Zucchero, and Joe Krown. In the "history" part of the show I've got Howlin' Wolf, Earl Hooker, Johnny Shines, Ray Charles, Willie Mabon, Albert King, Larry Davis, Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown, Paul Oscher, Guitar Shorty, and Colin Linden. We'll close with a song from the Dawn Tyler Watson in advance of her appearance Friday show at Upstairs.
