May 30, 2023: Celebrating Black Mothers w/ Latoya Elliott
Our final guest for the celebration of Black Mothers' series for the month of May 2023. Her name is Latoya Elliott, a single mom to a beautiful 4 year old boy. She is also a baker/chef, a tiktoker, an activist and a pinup model. Always told that she had to choose one thing and stick to it, but that did not resonate with the core of her Self. Working within so many different industries, she found herself prepared for a kind of life that others only dream about.
Latoya travelled to Europe, America, The Caribbean and across Canada, she is a tech wiz but most importantly: his superhero. Her son’s name is Judah and he’s an amazing person already. He’s got a big heart and a powerful soul so she does everything to show him that even without a man in his life to model manhood for him, the core of it lies within him he’s just got to tap in and set himself apart from the rest.
Latoya Elliott’s message remains “Always be and do what makes you happy in front of your kids so they understand it’s about a happy life not a rich one or a materialistic one.”
Tune in to hear more from 7-8.30pm, this Tuesday May 30, 2023 on CKUT 90.3FM.
