SOME EVENTS HAPPENING SOON:
~Midnight Kitchen Collective is having an Eggplant Workshop - Pickling and Storytelling with Audrey Jiang on Saturday August 5th at 3pm. Tickets are available on the Midnight Kitchen website.
~ Migrant Dreams, a feature documentary by Min Sook Lee will be screening on August 3rd at 6pm at Bar Milton-Parc. The documentary follows a group of migrant women under Canada’s Temporary Foreign Worker program who resist dehumanizing work conditions and exploitation from their brokers, employers, and the Canadian government.
~The Trans March will be taking place on August 5 at 2:30pm, departing from Place du Canada or Dorchester Square - just 5 minutes away from Peel and Bonaventure metro stations.
~ Free Orchestre Metropolitain at the foot of Mount Royal conducted by Yannnick Nézet-Séguin with pianist Alain Lefèvre with an expected 50,000 attendees this Wednesday at 8pm.
~ The McGill Education Garden will be having a wellness and Yoga session on Friday Aug 4th from 1 to 2pm. Yoga mats will be provided. Register through the garden’s instagram @mcgill_education_garden
