On Cha Cha Cha In Blue, the longest-running blues show in Montreal, host John Detcheverry devotes equal time to the classics, new releases and Canadian artists. On the air since 1990.

Listeners can expect to hear the likes of Paul Deslauriers, Buddy Guy, Otis Rush, Pop Staples, Downchild, Steve Rowe, MonkeyJunk, and Charlie Musselwhite, as well as live performances and interviews.

Tonight on Cha Cha Cha In Blue our opening set features Canadian blues with songs from Blackburn Brothers, Wayne Nicholson, Davis Hall & The Green Lanterns, The Sugar Darlings, and Garnetta Cromwell. This week's featured new releases are from André Bisson, Tomislav Goluban, EG Kight, Frenchie Moe, and Misty Blues. In the "history" part of the show I've got Major "Big Maceo" Merriweather, Barbecue Bob, Jessie Mae Hemphill, Elvin Bishop & Charlie Musselwhite, Johnny Moore, T-Bone Walker, Little Milton, Mickey Baker, Robert Ward, Andrew Jr Boy Jones, and Tito Jackson. We'll close with a song from Raha Javanfar's swinging group Bad Luck Woman & Her Misfortunes who will be at Upstairs' for a rare 3-set night next Sunday!
