On this evening's Soul Perspectives we have a conversation with David Loiseau! A former professional Mixed Martial Artist (MMA), Loiseau left an indelible mark on the combat sports world. Born on December 17, 1979, in Montreal, Quebec, David's journey in martial arts began at the age of 9 years old, and he quickly became a force to be reckoned with.

With a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, a second-degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and over two decades of training in Muay Thai and Boxing, making him a formidable striker in the ring. David Loiseau's skill set was unparalleled.

Throughout his career, David achieved remarkable success, claiming the title of MMA World Champion a staggering three times. He also earned the prestigious title of Canadian MMA Champion twice, solidifying his position as one of Canada's finest MMA athletes.

Throughout his illustrious career, David Loiseau held several notable titles demonstrating his dominance across various MMA promotions.A trailblazer in his own right, David Loiseau made history as the first French-speaking Canadian to compete in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). His contributions to the sport have inspired countless fighters and fans alike, leaving an enduring legacy within the MMA community.
