December 5, 2023: Interview with Story-Teller Ashley Paige

Ashley Paige is a nurse with a decade of experience under her belt, five of which she worked in the field of Travel Nursing. A published author, she currently has two titles in circulation, “Confident Sensuality” a romance mystery novel, and “Love Never Fails” which is a collection of her poetry. Not one to remain idle for long, Ashley’s latest publication projects include a Graphic Novel, “Na Makasi” and volume two of “Confident Sensuality.”

A storyteller, Ashley also brings her words from the page to our ears. She has an episodic series available on two separate platforms entitled “Zaila.” This series is available on Kindle Vella and on her storytelling podcast “Whispered Seductions” found on both Spotify and Buzzsprout.

On her various social media platforms, she built a reputation for real life storytelling and used that momentum to create a YouTube channel “Ashley Paige Story Time”. This incorporates storytelling adventures (or perhaps mis-adventures) in her nursing career, various accounts of illustriously colourful commentary and stories from her very Caribbean mother and grandmother, and she also invites folks to submit their own personal stories for her to repurpose and tell on the channel.

A multi-hyphenate doesn’t begin to describe this Artist to di bone! She is possessed of a deep love and passion for the visual and performing arts, including singing wherefore Ashley Paige’s multiple singles and more recently an EP “Butterflies and Tokens” can be found on all your musical purchase and streaming platforms. Not to mention that she also has a clothing line, APST.

Ashley is currently actively pursuing advanced degrees in both creative writing and nursing while hoping to find some free time in the upcoming holiday months. Otherwise, you can find her on instagram @thesoulofmy_pen where you can hear her begin one of her stories with her trademark “Some time A-go!” With a sharp click of her tongue that lets you know “this is gonna be a good one!”
