On Cha Cha Cha In Blue, the longest-running blues show in Montreal, host John Detcheverry devotes equal time to the classics, new releases and Canadian artists. On the air since 1990.

Listeners can expect to hear the likes of Paul Deslauriers, Buddy Guy, Otis Rush, Pop Staples, Downchild, Steve Rowe, MonkeyJunk, and Charlie Musselwhite, as well as live performances and interviews.

Tonight on Cha Cha Cha In Blue we start just like last week - with a glimpse into the future - singles from upcoming albums by The Black Keys, Cedric Burnside, GeminiiDRAGON, Altered Five Blues Band, and FOG Blues & Brass Band plus the 1977 Bobby "Blue" Bland version of the song FOG just covered. This week's featured new releases are from Bernard Allison, Evan Nicole Bell, and Kevin Burt & Big Medicine and I'll throw in a Bill Withers cover from Freddie King. In the "history" part of the show I've got Champion Jack Dupree, Charles Brown, Babs Gonzales, Muddy Waters, Sonny Boy Williamson II, Elmore James, Little Walter, Lucinda Williams, Smokin' Joe Kubek & Bnois King, Omar & The Howlers, and Zora Young. We'll close with a song from Steve Rowe who will be appearing with his trio at a Studio 88 Swing dance event at Espace 215. FREE DANCE LESSON! WOOHOO!
