January 23, 2024: Interview with Burlesque Dancer: Mia V Preisser
Mia V. Preisser aka MVP is a NYC based artist, producer, model, burlesque performer and breast cancer survivor. She has been performing and producing professionally in NYC since 2011. Josephine Baker is a huge inspiration to Mia’s work, which lends her to be an outspoken advocate for artist’s rights, pay and equity, especially with regards to artists who work in the very vulnerable adult/erotic entertainment industry. She uses her platform to speak up about the inequities of that environment, while showcasing how beautiful Black Women’s bodies are irrespective of shape or form. You can find Mia on social media at @miavpart and her website catcult.com
Join us this and every Tuesday from 7-8.30pm on CKUT 90.3FM
