March 19, 2024: Interview with Malika Tirolien, Singer, Songwriter and Author
Our guest this evening is originally from Guadeloupe and based in Montreal, Malika Tirolien is an international singer-songwriter and musician. Her love, passion and respect for music are felt as much on record as during her shows, in which she shines with her creativity, dedication and authenticity.
Whether for his collaborations with Jacob Collier, Jacques Schwarz-bart (who worked with D'Angelo, Roy Hargrove) or Vox Sambou, or with his electrifying performance on I'm Not The One, the flagship song of the album Family Dinner – Volume 1 by Snarky Puppy, Malika Tirolien has been attracting attention for a decade.
Determined to leave a positive mark in the world, Malika becomes a spokesperson for Amnesty Canada in 2022 and shapes tomorrow's generation through mentoring, while preparing a new musical project as well as a first foray into the literary world which will both be released in 2024! A prolific and versatile artist to support and watch.
