Where food and music intersect: from those trained in music in the food industry to musicians that fall into the restaurant industry to make ends meet, to the bonding that happens around music when working under pressure. Music is a constant in closed kitchens and in the public facing front of house. Both have the power to provoke strong emotional responses, comfort, nourish and heal and bond us to each other and ourselves. This show will blend interview, playlists, dj appearances and live performance by inviting guests that dabble in food and music to share their most treasured songs, reflect on food and the industry, on music that has touched them and where food and music comes together. At once nostalgic and novel. From home dj’s to trained musicians, from chefs to farmers and everything in between. Join us to hear the unsung voices of these hard-working epicurean audiophiles.
