Tonight on Cha Cha Cha In Blue we start by congratulating Blue Moon Marquee for taking this year's JUNO Award for Blues Album Of The Year and follow that with new singles from Left Lane Cruiser, Joanne Shaw Taylor, Slash, and Toronzo Cannon. Then we report the unfortunate news that New Orleans icon Clarence "Frogman" Henry has passed. This week's featured new releases are from The Chess Project, Sean Riley & The Water, Jimi Fiano, and Frankie Boy & The Blues Express. Kevin Burt & Big Medicine will be appearing Friday at UPSTAIRS so we'll listen to his cover of a Bill Withers classic. In the "history" part of the show I've got Pink Anderson & Simmie Dooley, Johnny Shines, Howlin' Wolf, Willie Mabon, Sonny Boy Williamson II, Larry Davis, Colin Linden, and Tommy Castro. We'll close with a song from Barbara Diab who will be appearing with duo Father 'N' Son at L'AQUARIUM CAFÉ in Rosemont on Saturday.
