June 18, 2024: Celebrating Black Fathers with Reggae/Hip Hop Artist Jonathan Émile
This week's Celebration of Black Fathers we invited new papa, Jonathan Emile. He is a Jamaican-Canadian singer-songwriter, poet, cancer survivor and activist. With a soulful voice and socially conscious lyrics, Emile's music transcends genres, blending reggae, hip-hop, and R&B.
His journey to fatherhood while not unique, had its' own fair share of ups and downs. Though he went through cancer many almost two decades ago, it affected his outlook on fatherhood. We chop it up with this Grammy and Juno nominated Hip-Hop/Reggae Artist from 7-8.30pm on CKUT 90.3FM or www.ckut.ca
