Gay & Grey Live Favoriting : Playlist from June 12, 2024

Gay & Grey Live is the continuation of CKUT's collaboration with Gay & Grey Montreal after the Queer Elders Sharing podcast project. It airs on the second Wednesday of each month from 5-6pm.

Gay & Grey Montreal is a social, mutual aid and sensitization network for English-speaking 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals over the age of 50 in Montreal and the surrounding area. We are committed to reducing isolation and improving the quality of life for 2SLGBTQIA+ seniors, while promoting appropriate services in a positive, caring environment for 2-spirited, lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer, intersex, asexual and anyone who identifies as belonging within this rainbow umbrella who live in Montreal and Quebec.

Gay & Grey Montreal promotes a lifestyle where 2SLGBTQIA+ English speaking seniors can live their lives with dignity in an affirming, inclusive, supportive and healthy environment.

Queer Elders Sharing is a podcast produced by Gay & Grey Montreal about demystifying gay culture. 2SLGBTQIA+ seniors have come to the mic to share their stories, advice and strength with you. Hear Diane speak about 2-spirit identity, listen to Chloe talk about coming into herself as a trans woman, Gloria speak of her journey of being a lesbian immigrant and making Montreal home, David describe key points that he experienced in the queer and trans history of Montreal, Mari.e share what it means to them to be a non-binary grandparent and Katharine recount what it means to practice self-love.

CKUT proudly aired Gay & Grey's podcast series in weekly instalments starting in March 2023. All of the episodes are available as video interviews on Gay & Grey's YouTube channel.
