On Cha Cha Cha In Blue, the longest-running blues show in Montreal, host John Detcheverry devotes equal time to the classics, new releases and Canadian artists. On the air since 1990.

Listeners can expect to hear the likes of Paul Deslauriers, Buddy Guy, Otis Rush, Pop Staples, Downchild, Steve Rowe, MonkeyJunk, and Charlie Musselwhite, as well as live performances and interviews.

Tonight on Cha Cha Cha In Blue we start out with the latest singles from albums by Little Georgie and The Shuffling Hungarians, The Damn Truth, Evan Nicole Bell, The Commoners, and Samantha Fish. This week's new releases feature selections from the Blues Caravan 2024 artists, both jointly and severally (Alastair Greene, Katarina Pejak, and Eric Johanson), Rob Lutes' latest Sussex album, and American Idol star Jovin Webb. In the "history" part of the show I've got Blind Lemon Jefferson, Blind Willie Johnson, Jimmy Witherspoon, Muddy Waters, Little Willie John, Billy Boy Arnold, Nappy Brown, B.B. King, Silas Hogan, Sonny Boy Williamson II, and Dave Specter with Brother Jack McDuff. We'll close with a song from The Ben Racine Band who'll be at Upstairs on Thursday.
