Off The Hour is CKUT's in-house daily corporate-free news program. It reflects our community because it is made by our community. CKUT’s spoken word programming features alternative news, public affairs and arts and culture shows. We cover Montreal and McGill goings-on, LGBTQIA+ culture, environmental and social justice issues, feminism, theatre, African and Latin America current affairs, and more.

October 23, 2024: Teesri Duniya Theatre on the role of arts & culture in our political moment + Two Birds One Stone playwright Murdoch Schon!
The news collective welcomed Teesri Duniya co-founder Rahul Varma and board member and community activist Ehab Lotayef for a conversation about the place of theatre and culture in our politically polarized moment, and about how it's changing their next theatre season. Then, we chatted with playwright Murdoch Schon on their play soon to be shown at Teesri Duniya, "Two Birds One Stone."
