Today on In the Motherhood on CKUT 90.3FM, Robyn talks with author Sharon Kirsch about her Montreal-based literary memoir *The Smallest Objective*, which explores our often broken connections to family and memory, intertwining Kirsch's own relationship to her family and their connection to Jewish Montreal history with her heartache and anxiety about her mother who had dementia.
A relevant topic always, but especially in light of September being World Alzheimer’s Month, asking us to reflect further on how we as a society treat older people, especially those in need of round-the-clock care, and how the pandemic is disproportionally affecting seniors in long-term care homes. Big thanks to Sharon Kirsch for the long-form interview/wide-ranging conversation with us! Tune in tonight at 6pm!
