On Cha Cha Cha In Blue, the longest-running blues show in Montreal, host John Detcheverry devotes equal time to the classics, new releases and Canadian artists. On the air since 1990.

Listeners can expect to hear the likes of Paul Deslauriers, Buddy Guy, Otis Rush, Pop Staples, Downchild, Steve Rowe, MonkeyJunk, and Charlie Musselwhite, as well as live performances and interviews.

Tonight on Cha Cha Cha In Blue we start with the latest singles by Tommy Castro, Joanne Shaw Taylor, Sheryl Youngblood, Larkin Poe, Janiva Magness, Robert Jon & The Wreck, and The Road Kings feat. Jesse Dayton, who, BTW, is opening for Tab Benoit, so I added\ him too. This week's featured new releases are by Freeworld, Guitar Jack Wargo, and Dennis Spencer. In the "history" part of the show I have Bessie Smith, Memphis Minnie, Julia Lee, Count Basie, Guitar Slim, Ike Turner, Lonesome Sundown, Albert King, Hollywood Fats, Sonny Rhodes, and Wes Mackey. We'll close with a song from Fuel Junkie who will be at UPSTAIRS on Thursday.
