December 18, 2022:
Tonight on Cha Cha Cha In Blue we're still COVID aware and this is my 136th show recorded at home! Let's get started with new blues from Buddy Guy, Suzie Vinnick, Angel Forrest, Brandon Isaak, and Blue Moon Marquee. Then we pay tribute to the great Kim Simmonds of Savoy Brown who passed away this past Tuesday. This week's featured new releases are from Robert Connely Farr and Little Bobby. In the "history" part of the show I've got Blind Lemon Jefferson, Memphis Minnie, Pee Wee Crayton, Jimmy Nolen, Jimmy Rogers, Wilson Pickett, Pop Staples,Alvin Lee, and Leslie West. We'll close with a song from Emily Estrella And The Stardust Stompers who give you two chances to swing this week - Wednesday at La Petite Marche & Thursday at Chez Ernest where Martin Goyette will fill out a killer double bill.
