Talk Time ID         Allison August has collaborated with Coco Montoya, and Paul Barrere of Little Feat. After being interrupted by Covid, she at last teamed up with Grammy winning producer Tony Braunagel, and longtime bandmate and co-producer David J. Carpenter. Tony Braunagel plays drums on most tracks, backed by Paul Barrere (guitar); Mike Finnigan (keyboards); Lenny Castro (percussion); Bob Glaub (bass) and backup vocals from Teresa James, Gregg Sutton and Maxayn Lewis. Finnigan passed in 2021 and Barrere in 2019, which shows how long some of these tunes have been waiting to be developed.

Listener chat!

  11:50am George Akiki:

I liked quite a bit the Powerful and Thunderous feel of the new releases.
With the likes of Lyytinen and Bonamassa and a softer touch with Bobby Rush and Kenny Blues Boss Wayne. The classics were classic. Great show 👍🏼
