May 24, 2022: Celebrating Black Mothers w/Paula Ferguson
As we continue to Celebrate Black Mothers throughout the month of May, our next guest is a special one. Jamaican born Paula Ferguson @fenton.paula, has been an entrepreneur since 1992. Before that she worked in a multiplicity of different jobs including Century National Bank. She desired to do something creative for herself, left the typical 9-5 job to join her husband, Peter Ferguson managing Photoworkshop providing production work, craft services, food styling and publication coordination for KRIS Magazine.
She dabbled in providing corporate training seminars, public relations and facilitating corporate business needs with her production agency, Details. Throughout the 90s Paula founded multiple businesses including Because Gifts & Gourmet (later rebranded to All Wrapped Up Jamaica @allwrappedupja), 2 Hampers & A Mule @2hampersjamaica which is a food, gift and souvenir store at Norman Manley International Airport and Studio Art Gallery.
Paula Ferguson has one more important title as the (step) mother of our host, Kym Dominique-Ferguson @mrkdferguson and he felt it was imperative that he speak with her about motherhood with him. We hope you join us this Tuesday May 24, 2022 to find out more on www.ckut.ca or CKUT's 90.3 on your FM dial!
