Favoriting June 28, 2022: Celebrating Black Fathers w/Tanguy Exumé

Tanguy Exumé @titangex of the @teachreach_podcast is a father, poet, teacher, podcasters, salsa dancer, and crossfitter. He grew up in Haiti in a household with ubiquitous socio-political debates. His teenage years were filled with moments of walking with his dad in protests against military hegemony and learning about the values of democracy and the importance of the Haitian Revolution. He moved to the traditional territory of the Anishinabek, Haudenosaunee, Huron-Wendat, Mohawk Peoples (Montreal) in 1999 to study biochemistry and criminology. During his time there, he discovered his love for writing and spoken word.

Join us for a conversation with Tanguy where we talk about fatherhood and also step-fatherhood since he has the privilege and honour of being both, yet for him, they are indistinguishable one from the other. Tune in Tuesday June 28, 2021 from 7-8.30pm on CKUT 90.3FM or www.ckut.ca
