Blues from every era. Interview with artists, concert listings, blues related events, information and trivia, gearhead heaven…just what kind of harmonica was that?
On Cha Cha Cha In Blue, the longest-running blues show in Montreal, host John Detcheverry devotes equal time to the classics, new releases and Canadian artists. On the air since 1990.
Listeners can expect to hear the likes of Paul Deslauriers, Buddy Guy, Otis Rush, Pop Staples, Downchild, Steve Rowe, MonkeyJunk, and Charlie Musselwhite, as well as live performances and interviews.

Tonight on Cha Cha Cha In Blue we're still COVID aware and this is my 143rd show recorded at home. Let's acknowledge some of Canada's best blues with samples from some of this year's Maple Blues Award winners! We'll hear from Colin James, Matt Andersen, Suzie Vinnick, Sue Foley, Angelique Francis, and Blue Moon Marquee. Then it's on to more of our best with the nominees for this year's JUNO Awards - Harrison Kennedy, The Harpoonist & The Axe Murderer, Crystal Shawanda, and Spencer Mackenzie! (Yes, I realize that Ms. Francis was also nominated). This week's new releases are singles from Misty Blues and Captain Jack Watson. In the "history" part of the show I've got Willie Mabon, Bumble Bee Slim, Casey Bill Weldon, Lonnie Johnson, Floyd Dixon, Guitar Slim, Schoolboy Cleve, Sonny Boy Williamson, King Curtis, Otis Clay, Earl King, and Philip Walker. We'll close with Ariel Posen's "Essential Guitar Track of the Week" per Guitar World magazine in anticipation of his Thursday appearance at the Petit Campus with Justin Saladino.
