Tonight on Cha Cha Cha In Blue we're still COVID aware and this is my 148th show recorded at home. In celebration of International Women's Day this week we bring you a few of Canada's finest blues women - Raha Javanfar (Bad Luck Woman & Her Misfortunes), Sunday Wilde, Barbara Diab, Carolyn Fe, Angel Forrest, and Meghan Parnell (Bywater Call). This week's featured new releases are from Savoy Brown, Mike Zito & Albert Castiglia, and Eric Bibb. In the "history" part of the show I've got Arbee Stidham, Peetie Wheatstraw, Josh White, Louis Jordan, Lester Young, The James Harman Band with Hollywood Fats, Duane Eddy, Alain Bashung, and John Mayall with Melvin Taylor. We'll close with a song from Fuel Junkie in advance of their Thursday appearance at Upstairs.
