November 1, 2022: Interview with Anti-Racist Psychotherapist: David Archer
This month we dive into Care, particularly Care when it comes to the Black Community and the different ways in which we take care of ourselves. To kick of this month we speak with David Archer @archertherapy an anti-racist therapist, author and father from Montreal, Canada (Tiohtià:ke). Trained as a clinical social worker and a couples & family therapist, Archer provides mental health services and consultations through his private practices.
Mental health during Covid has taken a forefront in people's psyché. The isolation forced people to take deep and introspective looks at themselves. Archer shares with us his journey as an artist and how he uses art to create an impact on the way that he approaches taking care of his patients' mental health.
Join us tonight, from 7-8.30pm EST to find out more. Either www.ckut.ca or 90.3FM on your Montreal radio dial.
