May 7, 2024: Celebrating Black Mothers w/Urologist & Pelvic Floor Surgeon Dr. Fenwa Milhouse
As a part of our Celebration of Black Mothers for the month of May, this evening's show we chat with Dr. Fenwa Milhouse. Dr. Milhouse is a board-certified, fellowship-trained urologist and specialist in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (also known as Urogynecology).
She previously worked for the largest private practice in the state of Illinois as the leading pelvic floor surgeon. In 2023, she started her own practice and is currently the co-founder and owner of Down There Urology in Chicago.
Dr. Milhouse enjoys using social media to destigmatize pelvic floor & sexual conditions, as well as demonstrate the importance of representation in Urology. Known by the world as “Your Favourite Urologist”, she has been featured on several media outlets including Yahoo, HuffPost, Essence Magazine, CNN, Insider, Cheddar News, WGN Chicago, Fox News Chicago, the Rickey Smiley Morning show, MDNEWSLINE, Sex with Dr. Jess, and regularly on Blackdoctor.org.
And Dr. Milhouse is the star of TLC network’s 'Dr. Down Below!' Join us this and every Tuesday evening in the month of May as we Celebrate Black Mothers here in Montreal, across Canada and internationally.
