On Cha Cha Cha In Blue, the longest-running blues show in Montreal, host John Detcheverry devotes equal time to the classics, new releases and Canadian artists. On the air since 1990.

Listeners can expect to hear the likes of Paul Deslauriers, Buddy Guy, Otis Rush, Pop Staples, Downchild, Steve Rowe, MonkeyJunk, and Charlie Musselwhite, as well as live performances and interviews.

I'm so happy to be back with you tonight on Cha Cha Cha In Blue and I've got so many new releases that I'm going to go to the NACC (North American College & Community) blues chart to help bring you up to date. In the first hour we'll play selections from the top 30 blues albums including Rick Estrin & The Nightcats, Tinsley Ellis, Johnny Burgin, Curtis Salgado, Sugaray Rayford, Sue Foley, Anthony Geraci, Big Harp George, Alastair Greene, JP Soars, Chris O'Leary, Billy Price, and Mike Zito . In the "history" part of the show I've got Ethel Waters, Tony Hollins, Percy Mayfield, Junior Wells, Lowell Fulson, Muddy Waters, Koko Taylor, Grant Green, James Harman, Boz Scaggs, and The Derek Trucks Band. We'll close with a song from The Alec McElcheran Trio who'll be at Bistro À Jojo on Thursday.
