Emerging from Montreal, Taigenz is a dynamic force in hip-hop, blending his Cameroonian roots with North American culture. His music traverses Trap, R&B, and Afro-beat, showcasing a vocal texture reminiscent of 50 Cent and lyrical storytelling akin to Wale and Burna Boy. In 2019, he made waves with his album Life Ain’t Free, featuring hits like “Lemme Ball” and “Speak The Truth,” amassing over 100,000 streams globally. A versatile artist, Taigenz adapted during the pandemic with engaging virtual performances, earning accolades such as “Best Infused Hip-Hop Song” at the Indie Grind Music Awards in 2021. His 2022 EP Life A Life and its Deluxe Version continue to resonate with a diverse audience. With a unique sound and perspective, Taigenz is poised to redefine the genre.
