On Cha Cha Cha In Blue, the longest-running blues show in Montreal, host John Detcheverry devotes equal time to the classics, new releases and Canadian artists. On the air since 1990.

Listeners can expect to hear the likes of Paul Deslauriers, Buddy Guy, Otis Rush, Pop Staples, Downchild, Steve Rowe, MonkeyJunk, and Charlie Musselwhite, as well as live performances and interviews.

Tonight on Cha Cha Cha In Blue we start out by stocking your digital blues jukebox with a slew of new singles by Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Larkin Poe, Brad Vickers & His Vestapolitans, TJ Wong, JD Simo & Luther Dickinson, Fantastic Negrito, Tony Holiday, and Robert Jon & The Wreck. This week's new releases are by Mitch Woods, Piper & The Hard Times, Heather Pierson, Pontchartrain Shakers, and Jimmy Carpenter. In the "history" part of the show I've got Victoria Spivey, Billie Holiday, John Brim, Howlin' Wolf, Little Walker, J.B. Lenoir, B.B. King, Popa Chubby, Duke Robillard, and Rick Estrin & The Nightcats. We'll close with a song from Justin Saladino who'll be at L'Aquarium Café Bar on Masson on Saturday.

Kenny Wayne Shepherd  I Got a Woman   Favoriting Dirt on My Diamonds Volume 2  Provogue  2024  KWS headed to the legendary FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, co-wrote 14 new tunes, then recorded them in LA’s all analog Band House Studios. Noah Hunt provides the vocals.

  Talk Time ID         "Happy Hour", Woods' fourteenth album, is a collection of his all-original tunes recorded at Greaseland Studios in San Jose, California, with Mitch Woods producing, and Christoffer "Kid" Andersen, engineering and mastering. “Happy Hour was recorded during the time of the Covid Lockdown,” recalls Mitch Woods.
