On Cha Cha Cha In Blue, the longest-running blues show in Montreal, host John Detcheverry devotes equal time to the classics, new releases and Canadian artists. On the air since 1990.

Listeners can expect to hear the likes of Paul Deslauriers, Buddy Guy, Otis Rush, Pop Staples, Downchild, Steve Rowe, MonkeyJunk, and Charlie Musselwhite, as well as live performances and interviews.

Tonight on Cha Cha Cha In Blue we start with the latest new singles by Chad Rupp, The Zac Schulze Band, Samantha Fish, Steve Hill, Eddie 9V, and Joanne Shaw Taylor. Rob Lutes of Sussex was kind enough to give us a call to talk about their new album "Shine" ahead of the launch concert at Espace Knox on Friday. This week's new releases are by Vanessa Collier, Otilia Donaire, and Khalif Wailin' Walter . In the "history" part of the show I've got Merline Johnson & Blind John Davis, Sister Rosetta Tharpe, Oscar Brown Jr., Oscar Moore, Nappy Brown, Eddie Boyd, Muddy Waters, Smokin' Joe Kubek & Bnois King, Ray Bonneville, and the Ben Racine Band. We'll close with a song from Bobby Dove who'll be at Brasserie Beaubien on Tuesday.
