December 12, 2024: Amnesty International report / B'Tselem report / Amputee children in Gaza / Canada's legal obligations
On this episode we focus on some of the most recent statements and reports released by various human rights organization. We start with the latest report by Amnesty International that found Israeli guilty of Genocide, then we cover another report by the Israeli human rights organization B’Tselem that found a shocking rise in harassment, detention and abuse of Palestinians by Israeli Soldiers in the occupied West Bank city of Hebron. Then we learned about the latest shocking statistic about Palestinian children in Gaza. UN secretary general stated that now Gaza “the highest number of amputee children per capita in the world.” Finally we heard from Francesca Albanese, the United Nations Special Rapporteur on the Occupied Palestinian Territories, talking about the refusal of the Canadian government to meet with her last month.
