On Cha Cha Cha In Blue, the longest-running blues show in Montreal, host John Detcheverry devotes equal time to the classics, new releases and Canadian artists. On the air since 1990.

Listeners can expect to hear the likes of Paul Deslauriers, Buddy Guy, Otis Rush, Pop Staples, Downchild, Steve Rowe, MonkeyJunk, and Charlie Musselwhite, as well as live performances and interviews.

Tonight on Cha Cha Cha In Blue we start out with the latest blues singles from upcoming albums by Larkin Poe, ZZ Ward, Hannah Wicklund, Tony Holiday, Max Hightower, and Eric Johanson. This week's featured new releases are from Ed Alstrom, Tomislav Goluban With Crooked Eye Tommy, and David Ronaldo. In the "history" set we start back in 1934 with Charley Patton and continue with Tampa Red, Big Joe Turner, Sonny Boy Williamson, Eddie Taylor, Willie Dixon, Jake Shimabukuro & Mick Fleetwood with Sonny Landreth, and Colin James with Lucinda Williams, plus 2 tunes each from Nappy Brown and Johnny "Guitar" Watson. We'll close with a tune from Alec McElcheran who's playing the "5 À 9" at Bistro À Jojo on Wednesday.
