Listeners can expect to hear the likes of Paul Deslauriers, Buddy Guy, Otis Rush, Pop Staples, Downchild, Steve Rowe, MonkeyJunk, and Charlie Musselwhite, as well as live performances and interviews.

Tonight on Cha Cha Cha In Blue we salute the artists who capped the Canadian Big Blues Chart: Ollee Owens, Tommy Castro, Blue Moon Marquee, Sue Foley, and Kenny "Blues Boss" Wayne. This week's featured new releases are from Cat Wells Blues Band and Jad Tariq plus new singles from Kenny Neal, the John Doe Trio, Ally Venable, and Erja Lyytinen. In the "history" set we start in 1932 with Peetie Wheatstraw and continue with Arthur "Big Boy" Crudup, Arbee Stidham, Lightnin' Slim, Louis Jordan, T-Bone Walker, King Biscuit Boy, Alain Bashung, Terence Trent D'Arby, John Németh, and Selwyn Birchwood. We'll close with a song from Angelique Francis who will be at Le Zaricot in Saint-Hyacinthe on Thursday.

Last week’s Will Wilde’s Broken Dream Blues stood out and smacked me around.
This week you ran me through an enormous roller coaster of emotions starting with Cat Wells’s Everything I Has Is Gone to Terence Trent D’Arby’s (I remember him) Who’s Loving You to Bradly Brent and John Németh and ending with Angelique Francis’s Train Coming.
I listened to the whole show multiple times and will do some more after this week’s show. (That’s a long commen: sorry)
