April 1, 2025: Interview w/Educator, Advocate, and Spiritual Visionary Brenda Aviles
Tonight, on Soul Perspectives, we’re honored to welcome a powerhouse educator, advocate, and spiritual visionary—Brenda Aviles. With over 20 years of experience, Brenda has dedicated her life to transforming the lives of students, teachers, and communities. She began her journey as an elementary school teacher in New York City, where she first confronted the systemic inequities facing Black and Brown children. Fueled by a passion for justice, she transitioned into coaching and professional development, working to empower educators and dismantle systems of inequality.
Brenda’s groundbreaking work includes leading a national anti-racism fellowship for teachers, designed to diversify classrooms and shift mindsets. She holds a Master’s in Urban and Multicultural Education, a field she pursued to address the unmet needs of urban students. But Brenda’s mission doesn’t stop there—she’s now studying to become a minister of spiritual consciousness, exploring the transformative power of spirituality and universal principles to inspire collective growth.
Through her podcast, Conversations with Brenda, she creates a space for authentic dialogue, healing, and connection. Whether through solo reflections or heartfelt conversations, Brenda invites listeners to join her on a journey of unfolding—where education, spirituality, and community intersect to create a brighter, more just future.
Please join us in welcoming the incredible Brenda Aviles!
