On Cha Cha Cha In Blue, the longest-running blues show in Montreal, host John Detcheverry devotes equal time to the classics, new releases and Canadian artists. On the air since 1990.

Listeners can expect to hear the likes of Paul Deslauriers, Buddy Guy, Otis Rush, Pop Staples, Downchild, Steve Rowe, MonkeyJunk, and Charlie Musselwhite, as well as live performances and interviews.

Tonight on Cha Cha Cha In Blue Festival Season is still in full swing! We'll preview some of what's to come at the Tremblant Blues Fest with music from The Stephen Barry Band, Colin James, Campbell & Johnston, Steve Marriner, The Reverend Shawn Amos, Matt Andersen, Angelique Francis, Guy Belanger, and Sue Foley. This week's new releases are the latest singles from Aki Kumar, Terry Hanck, Australia's Night Owls, Eric Gales, Gary Clark Jr., The Bluesmasters, and Willie Buck & Bob Corritore. In the "history" set we've got Edna Hicks, Clara Smith, Gladys Bentley, Victoria Spivey, Billie Holiday, Muddy Waters, Memphis Minnie, Tiny Grimes, Louis Jordan, and Jarekus Singleton. We'll close with a song from Paolo Stante who's appearing at Smoke Meat Pete on Friday.

The album will be released digitally on August 29 and physically on October 24 via Provogue and features appearances by Buddy Guy, Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, Joe Bonamassa, Roosevelt Collier and Josh Smith.
