Tonight on Cha Cha Cha In Blue Festival Season is in full swing! We'll preview some of what's still to come in the Jazz Fest with music from Matteo Mancuso, Chambers DesLauriers, Fantastic Negrito, Christone "Kingfish" Ingram, and The Sugar Darlings. Then it's off to the south shore city of Chambly for the Festival De Blues De La Montérégie with previews from Dawn Tyler Watson, Bob Scienza & The Wigs, Father 'N' Son, and Barbara Diab. This week's new releases are the latest singles from Devon Allman, 11 Guys Quartet, Maria Muldaur, Long Tall Deb & Colin John, Laura Evans, and The Damn Truth plus Steve Marriner's new cd. In the "history" set we've got Little Buddy Doyle, Peter Cleighton, Champion Jack Dupree, Memphis Slim, Eddie Cleanhead Vinson, James Cotton, Syl Johnson, Little Feat, and Dr. Lonnie Smith. We'll close with proof that not all live music is festival-related. Bloodshot Bill is opening for Toronto's Surfragettes at the Bar Le Ritz PDB tomorrow so we'll close with a song from his new release "So Fed Up".
