Blues from every era. Interview with artists, concert listings, blues related events, information and trivia, gearhead heaven…just what kind of harmonica was that?
On Cha Cha Cha In Blue, the longest-running blues show in Montreal, host John Detcheverry devotes equal time to the classics, new releases and Canadian artists. On the air since 1990.

January 8, 2023: A second year-end roundup!
Tonight on Cha Cha Cha In Blue we're still COVID aware and this is my 139th show recorded at home. In the first sets I continue to honour the great local talent who made new albums this year and then expand in the next set to part 2 of the best of the rest, "best" actually meaning "my favourites". These include Steve Hill, Crystal Shawanda, Angelique Francis, Blue Moon Marquee, Son Of Dave, Paul DesLauriers & Annika Chambers, Duke Robillard, Rick Berthod, Charlie Musselwhite, and Robert Connely Farr. Next we attend to the sad business of paying tribute to some of those we lost last year including Harpdog Brown, Bill Bourne, Luther "Guitar Junior" Johnson, Classie Ballou, Syl Johnson, and Jimmy Johnson. In the "history" part of the show I've got Gus Jenkins, Howlin' Wolf, Sonny Boy Williamson, Katie Webster, Slim Harpo, Long John Baldry, Otis Clay, and Stephen Barry. We'll close with a song from Dwane Dixon who will be playing at Winnie's on Friday & Saturday.
