Tonight on Cha Cha Cha In Blue we're still COVID aware and this is my 140th show recorded at home. The blues prophets have bestowed on us these harbingers of great things to come - advance singles from upcoming new releases by Eric Bibb, Taj Mahal, and Harlem Lake. Then we pay tribute to one of the most iconic guitarists in rock history, the great Jeff Beck with a couple of his blues and his jaw-dropping performance at his SECOND induction into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame. This week's new releases are from Lone Star Mojo, Douglas Avery, Paul Filipowicz, Mick Kolassa, and Kurt Allen. In the "history" part of the show I've got Reverend Robert Wilkins, Leadbelly, Champion Jack Dupree, Charles Brown, Henry Gray, Johnny "Guitar" Watson, Johnny Jano, Eddie Taylor, Johnny Otis, Freddie King, and Junior Kimbrough. We'll close with a song from Midnight Miles who will be celebrating the release of their new single "Comin' On" at Petit Campus on Thursday - but you heard it here first!.
