Texas Headhunters  Gimme Some Love   Favoriting Texas Headhunters  Blue Élan Records  2025  Fabulous Thunderbirds Johnny Moeller stepping out front. Think Ray Wylie Hubbard swagger meets Delbert McClinton soul, with a little Billy Gibbons grit for good measure. Moeller: “I’m playing rhythm and singing while Jesse Dayton and Ian Moore laid down the ‘ancient art of guitar weaving,’ Texas style, all in one live take. The song’s about looking at this crazy world and realizing we all just need a little more love. I was stuck on the third verse, and my wife said, ‘write something about your dog.’ So, ‘my little sweet Talullah’ made the cut.” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pmjYmZjVE3w

FEATURED NEW RELEASES
Talk Time ID         Brandon Isaak, the Whitehorse-born bluesman known for his gravelly voice and deep respect for tradition, returns with Walkin’ With the Blues — his most authentic and electrified blues album to date. Recorded live off the floor with minimal mics, vintage gear and a soul soaked in the genre’s deepest roots, the record is a love letter to classic blues — gritty, emotional and defiantly old-school.

The song calls out the familiar culprits: misinformation, institutional greed, and the long shadow of putting profit over people. Before the "Gordon Gecko Greed Is Good" philosophy of the 80s we used to think corporations had social responsibilities. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SSJ1iW-QgAw
