On Cha Cha Cha In Blue, the longest-running blues show in Montreal, host John Detcheverry devotes equal time to the classics, new releases and Canadian artists. On the air since 1990.

Listeners can expect to hear the likes of Paul Deslauriers, Buddy Guy, Otis Rush, Pop Staples, Downchild, Steve Rowe, MonkeyJunk, and Charlie Musselwhite, as well as live performances and interviews.

Tonight on Cha Cha Cha In Blue we start with the latest singles from Tyler Bryant, Eric Gales, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Jon Batiste & Randy Newman, Mitch Laddie, Parker Barrow, and Kris Barras’ Hollow Souls. This week's featured new releases are from Buddy Guy, Kip London, Christina Crofts, Brad "Guitar" Wilson, Rusty Ends & Hillbilly Hoodoo, and Big Shoes. In the "history" set we start in 1930 with Lonnie Johnson and continue with Will Batts, Casey Bill Weldon, Albert King, Little Milton, Detroit Junior, Rahsaan Roland Kirk, Robert Randolph, Chambers Deslauriers, and Jim Zeller. We'll close with a song from Izzo Blues Coalition who'll be performing at Italfest in Petite Italie un Saturday.

Kip London  Hurricane   Favoriting The Last Dance  MoMojo Records  2025  Posthumous album from Western Pennsylvania musician Kip London. The record emerges from a series of great recording sessions with Norman Nardini at his East Side Sound Studio just prior to London's untimely passing in 2022. The Last Dance album release was celebrated at the 2025 Pittsburgh Blues and Roots Festival (held July 25 through 27), an annual event benefitting Band Together Pittsburgh, an organization using music to inspire and enrich the lives of those on the autism spectrum.

He's also taken his songwriting talents to the big screen, scoring the song “Teaser” for John Carpenter’s film, “Vampires”, music for the movie “Ghosts of Mars,” and TV shows “The Young & the Restless” and “Passions.” Here's his version of Willie Dixon's “Groaning The Blues,” an Otis Rush classic from 1957.
