On Cha Cha Cha In Blue, the longest-running blues show in Montreal, host John Detcheverry devotes equal time to the classics, new releases and Canadian artists. On the air since 1990.

Listeners can expect to hear the likes of Paul Deslauriers, Buddy Guy, Otis Rush, Pop Staples, Downchild, Steve Rowe, MonkeyJunk, and Charlie Musselwhite, as well as live performances and interviews.

Tonight on Cha Cha Cha In Blue we celebrate those Canadian artists who charted on the BIG BLUES CHART. Congratulations to Steve Marriner, Crystal Shawanda, Geoff Arsenault, Brother Ray Lemelin, Angelique Francis, Larry Kurtz And The Lawbreakers, Brandon Isaak, and the Blackburn Brothers. Our old friend Paul Deslauriers & his wife Annika Chambers return for the local launch of "Our Time To Ride", recorded right here in Montreal. In addition to a couple of selections from the new disc I slipped in a song that Paul recorded live in our studio in one of the earliest radio interviews of his career. On the new release deck I've got Travellin' Blue & GA-20 plus the last two of the five singles currently available from Joe Bonamassa's "B.B. King’s Blues Summit 100". The "history" set features music from Howlin' Wolf, Eddie Boyd, Little Walter, J.B. Lenoir, Oscar Brown Jr., The Oscar Moore Quartet, Billy Lee Riley, Ray Bonneville, Rick Estrin & The Nightcats, the Ben Racine Band, and Smokin' Joe Kubek & Bnois King. We'll close with a song from Kim Adams & The House Cats who will be at the Legion in Morin-Heights on Saturday.
