The first single from the album, “The Church Of Electric Swamp Funkin’ Blues,” has been released alongside an accompanying music video. Tinsley Ellis  Too Broke   Favoriting Labor Of Love  Alligator Records  2026  Atlanta-based blues guitarist, vocalist and songwriter Tinsley Ellis released his new all acoustic album, Labor Of Love, his second acoustic album (after 2024’s Blues Music Award-nominated Naked Truth), and his first acoustic album to contain all original material. Tinsley celebrated the release with a new single & video for "Too Broke". According to Ellis, “Too Broke” has lyrics everyone can relate to now. It was inspired, he notes, by blues great Tommy Johnson’s Big Road Blues. In the run-up to the release of their sixth album, David Ronaldo and his band unveiled the first single “Suzy’s Home” on January 23: “Suzy’s Home” is a song whose poignant lyrics tell a story of loss and the quiet aftermath of war for those left behind. The track is not a political statement, but a deeply cutting human portrait. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z1d_kaDc-F0

  8:15pm George Akiki:

Gary Moore; all I need to say, no MORE. He’s that good to my ears.
The other nominations were good but the pain and sorrow from Gary is enough to water my eyes.
Great show 👍🏼
